Traditions

In this section of the web site, we focus on a few of the many traditions through which the community celebrates their Italian culture and heritage. Some of these traditions have been transplanted from Italy, such as the celebration of St. Anthony’s Feast Day. Some have originated in Canada, such as Italian Week. All have developed into traditions unique to the Italian-Canadian community of Ottawa.
